The Wuling Cloud EV electric car was spotted driving around in Bekasi, West Java. In fact, wuling news editorial staff photographed the vehicle as it passed Jalan Raya Pemuda, Kranji, West Bekasi on Saturday evening (3/5).

According to our observations, like test products in general, the prospective new electric car is covered with a green camouflage sticker to obscure its identity. However, there are a number of details that can be recognized, from the rear lights, body lines to the window design.

The Wuling Cloud EV was seen crossing a notoriously congested road, namely at a traditional market intersection. However, not many local people have turned their attention to the electric car.

For the record, this is not the first time the Wuling Cloud EV has been caught on camera being tested on the road in Indonesia. Previously, the vehicle was photographed at PLN’s Fast Charging SPKLU which is located in the rest area of ​​the Cipularang KM 88 toll road heading to Bandung, West Java.

Wuling Cloud EV has been listed in the Official Industrial Design News No. 54/DI/2023 released by the Directorate of Copyright and Industrial Design, Directorate General of Intellectual Property, Ministry of Law and Human Rights. The design is registered with application number A00202304080.

The applicant for the car design is SAIC GM Wuling Automobile Co., LTD which is located in Guangxi, China. The design looks exactly like the Wuling Cloud EV which was launched in China.

Previously, Wuling had also registered the name Cloud EV. This is known from the Intellectual Property Database of the Ministry of Law and Human Rights. The application DID2023081672 is listed with the owner’s name SAIC-GM-Wuling Automobile Co., Ltd.

Wuling Cloud EV is a five-seater hatchback electric car. The car has dimensions of 4,295 mm in length, 1,850 mm in width and 1,652 mm in height. The wheelbase is 2,700 mm.

Cloud EV is equipped with an electric motor capable of producing 100 kW of power and a maximum torque of 200 Nm. Meanwhile, the battery is lithium iron phosphate with two capacity options, namely 37.9 kWh and 50.6 kWh. This provision makes the vehicle capable of covering a distance of 360 km and 460 km when the battery is full.
